Environmental Impact

Scrap Rubber generated by Rubber Goods Manufacturers around the world including 300-350 million scrap tires which are discarded each year within North America are a very real Bio Hazard.

The good news is that most of this scrap, including tires, are recyclable.

Scrap tires and other similar products take up thousands of acres of landfill space across North America.  As land in general becomes more scarce & valuable, we will likely see the trend of illegal dumping increase substantially.  Activities such as these drive down property values in both city and rural areas and are of a great expense to us, as taxpayers.
